Big news, Gurt fans — we’ve only gone and made a beer! Introducing the Cluckin’ Gurt IPA, a bold collaboration between Gurt Wings and Quantock Brewery that brings our unapologetic flavour and attitude straight into a can.

A Gurt IPA Like No Other

The Gurt IPA is built on a soft pale base, fermented with fruity New England yeast. The result? A juicy, easy-drinking IPA bursting with tropical, citrus, and ripe stone fruits. Every sip delivers the kind of bold, punchy flavour Gurt fans know and love, now in liquid form.

To make this beer truly unique, we worked closely with the team at Quantock Brewery. Uncle Gurty himself got hands-on during the brewing process, contributing hops and other signature elements to ensure this IPA screams Gurt from start to finish.

Hops That Pack a Punch

A blend of Cashmere and Krush Cryo hops to give the Gurt IPA its distinctive flavour profile. Cashmere brings smooth, soft notes with a hint of tropical sweetness, while Krush Cryo adds punchy citrus and ripe stone fruit aromas. Together, they create an IPA that’s fruity, fragrant, and perfectly balanced — ideal for pairing with our award-winning fried chicken.

Behind the Scenes at Quantock

In November, we visited Quantock Brewery for an in-depth tour and brewing session. It wasn’t just about adding our name to a beer — we wanted our IPA to feel authentic and hands-on. From learning the intricacies of fermentation to personally adding hops, this was a true collaboration that allowed us to leave our mark on every batch.

Quantock Brewery brought their craft expertise, while we brought our bold, playful Gurt Wings attitude. The result is an IPA that is unmistakably Gurt, with a flavour profile that works for both seasoned IPA drinkers and newcomers alike.
