Location: Unit 11 Axis Business Centre, Westmead Industrial Estate, Swindon SN5

Schedule: Permanent, Full-time. Day shift – Monday to Friday (Overtime and Weekend availability)

Job Description:

Gurt Wings are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional hospitality and catering services. The ideal candidate will assist in various catering activities, ensuring high-quality service and guest satisfaction.

Duties:- Assist in setting up catering events, Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and friendly manner- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the catering area within our food trucks throughout events- Support in food preparation tasks under the guidance of culinary staff- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations- Provide excellent guest services, addressing any inquiries or requests promptly.

Qualifications:- Previous experience in hospitality would be good, catering, or related roles is advantageous- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential- Familiarity with street food and mobile catering- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks within the catering environment
